GP Security Dog Handlers Across the Midlands

A trained general purpose dog finds what a camera misses and reaches where a static guard cannot. The presence of a licensed dog handler is one of the strongest deterrents available — most intruders will not risk a site patrolled by a dog. Where a breach does occur, a GP dog team can search and clear large or complex areas far faster than officers on foot.

Our handlers and dogs are fully licensed, trained and insured, working as a single accredited unit. Every deployment is documented and supported by the Westgate Control Room, giving you the same transparent reporting and escalation as our manned guarding.

GP dog units are ideal for large, open or high-risk sites — construction plots, distribution yards, retail parks and outdoor events — where the combination of deterrent, speed and coverage is decisive. We match the right handler and dog to your environment and integrate them with any guarding, patrols or CCTV towers already protecting your site.

As with all Westgate services, you get a named local manager, consistent teams who learn your site, and cover built around your genuine risk following a free site assessment.
